Chlorophyll

Raw fruits and vegetables are wonderful sources of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is nature's healer and cleanser. It is effective as an internal antiseptic, cell stimulator, red blood builder, and rejuvenator. The chlorophyll molecule is very similar to haemoglobin, the substance that carries oxygen in the blood. The basic difference is that haemoglobin contains iron in the centre of its molecule, while chlorophyll contains magnesium.

The best juice sources of chlorophyll are lettuce, kale, collard greens, swiss chard, alfalfa, cabbage, spinach, turnip greens, watercress, parsley, celery, cucumber, green pepper, scallions. However, any leafy greens in season will supply nature's own green medicine.
