Organic
There are many reasons we use organic produce in our foods. Here are some of the main ones:
- Taste - If the soils healthy, the plants are more likely to be. Being organic doesn't guarantee something will taste better, but we believe it does and that its probably got more nutrients in it aswell.
- Safety - Because organic certification doesn't allow the use of artificial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides, you know that you won't be eating them either.
- GMOs - No we don't know what the effects of GMOs are, and because regulations ban their use in organic food, we won't have any nasty surprises in the future either.
- Environment - Organic farming should be kinder and more respectful of the environment than conventional farming.
